PolyCera Membranes combine ceramic membrane performance with polymeric membrane economics

The PolyCera Titan NF membrane is heat, acid and base tolerant. They effectively remove organic molecules (molecular weight > 500 Dalton), ≤5% inorganic salt rejection.
The PolyCera Titan nanofiltration membrane was originally designed for chemical-less dye removal. However, its characteristics of "removal of organics while letting salt pass" can also be used for high salinity wastewater treatment, which can improve the efficiency of system operation and reduce operating energy consumption.

Salt-Permeating Nanofiltration (NF) Membrane

PolyCera Titan NF membranes, engineered with Nobel Prize-winning chemistry, have sub-nanometer pore size with MWCO of 500 Da to 1,000 Da. Titan NF is designed for chemical-free color removal (typical rejection >99%) while allowing ~0% salt rejection, due to its low-charged surface.

Advantages of PolyCera Membrane

Molecular weight cut-off (MWCO): 500 Dalton

Membrane pore size: < 1nm

Target Applications: decolorization of wastewater; removal or concentrating of dye molecules; large color molecule (>500 Da) removal > 99%; no chemicals (oxidants, flocculants) are required.

Inorganic salt removal ≤ 5%, enable high recovery operation.
